Quick Response
A Go QR code generator deployed on Vercel with a Dockerfile, testing container builds on the platform.
quick-response is a QR code generator written in Go and deployed on Vercel, and it exists mainly to test the Dockerfile-on-Vercel path end to end. There is a web form for generating codes, a query-parameter endpoint that returns a PNG, and a health check.

The interesting part is the build rather than the app. Vercel auto-detects the Dockerfile preset during project setup, so the Go binary is compiled inside a container with buildah from a golang alpine image, and the runtime stage is a bare alpine image carrying the compiled server. Nothing is built locally and pushed anywhere; the platform does the container work.
That means cross-compilation, the runtime image, environment variables like the port, query parameters, binary responses, cold starts and redeploys all get exercised by a toy app instead of a real service. The repo keeps the full first successful build log in the README, so the setup is reproducible if the preset changes.
